Camera – to scan and translate text from signs, menus, documents, etc.
Microphone – to enable voice input and Conversation Mode.
Photo Library/Storage – to import images for translation.
You can enable or disable these permissions at any time in your device settings. Disabling a permission will only limit the related feature (e.g., disabling microphone access disables voice translation) and will not affect the rest of the app.
c) Automatically Collected Information
Basic usage data (e.g., features used, app language, general app performance) to help us maintain and improve the app.
Device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version, used for troubleshooting and compatibility.
d) Information We Do NOT Collect
TranslateNow does not require account creation or login. We do not collect your name, government ID, precise location, contacts, or financial information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
Provide text, voice, camera, and photo translation features.
Process translation requests through our translation engine/AI service.
Save your recent translations, phrases, and settings locally on your device (and/or securely, if backup is enabled).
Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve app performance and reliability.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only:
With the third-party translation/AI service provider(s) necessary to perform the translation you request.
